Having spent 48 years behind the decks in both residencies and mobile disco in the 70's & 80's, Des transitioned to Radio following a back injury in 2020. He is also a musician and promotes local musicians on his Saturday Sessions show. Des is also prominent when it comes to fund raising events, raising money for worthy causes including Hailsham FM.
