The Hellingly Show on Hailsham FM

First Wednesday of each month

20.00 – 22.00

The Hellingly Centre Radio Show has been part of Hailsham FM for many years now. The show which is produced and created from the hospital gives residents and staff the opportunity to pick tracks and discuss various areas of mental health. The show is a great platform and highlights the opportunities that a community run project such as Hailsham FM offers to the community that it serves.

Hip Hop and R’n’B (Elise Bradley)

elise bradley presenter

Second Wednesday of each month

20.00 – 22.00

2 hours of new and classic hip hop and R’n’B tracks

Simon Herbert’s Interesting Tracks

Third Wednesday of each month

20.00 – 22.00

Brace yourselves for 2 hours of terrible music – songs you won’t have heard before, and, quite frankly, won’t want to hear again. Fortunately, it’s only once a month.

Sunglasses After Dark with Chris Giles

Fourth Wednesday of each month

20.00 – 22.00

Goth, punk, new wave, electronica, psychobilly, alternative, indie and early grunge with occasional interviews

Sunglasses After Dark will bring you the darker, gothy and gloomier side of the late 70’s through to the early 90’s – of course, there will be familiar songs and artists, such as The Cure and The Smiths, but we also take the road less travelled, with rarely heard and unearthed gems to truly take you back. You will definitely need…Sunglasses After Dark.

The Alternative Slot – Classics – with Dylan Hibbert

Fifth Wednesday of the month (when there is one)

20.00 – 22.00

Join Dylan Hibbert on the 5th Wednesday of the month (when there is one) for two hours of alternative/indie classics. With such a broad range, expect everything from shoegaze, indie pop, post punk, Britpop, Lo-Fi and many more. Some tracks will be more known than others but all classics in their own right. Covering record labels such as Sarah records, 4ad, Creation, Mute, Sub Pop, rough trade and some of the lesser known labels, they’ll be something for everyone.
