The Town Council’s ‘grand celebration’ to mark the 80th Anniversary of VE Day is taking place in Vicarage Field, with the event featuring market stalls, food stands and activities, as well as live entertainment from Miss Peggy Rose, The Jackettes, Sjaan Dance Academy, and local school pupils – plus a historical photo exhibition! Hailsham FM will also be in attendance.
